The Firm · Pricing
What it costs to work with us.
Every line item we bill, in Canadian dollars, with the packages built out of them and the arithmetic shown. Web work is priced per page and per integration, so you can add up your own job before you speak to anyone. We do not bill by the hour.
Fixed
$44.99 / month
Hosting for a site or app, database and security included. A fixed price, not an estimate.
Builds from
$325 / page
The smallest build we take. One page, designed, built and live.
Fixed
$349.99 / month
Your product managed month to month, Google Search Console included.
How web work is priced
Three units. Everything is built from them.
Project prices on this page are starting points. Your requirements move the final number, so we quote it in writing before any work begins and it does not change after that. The monthly plans are the exception: $44.99 and $349.99 are fixed prices, not estimates.
Per page
from $325
One page
Layout, build, responsive behaviour down to phone size, and your content wired in. A page with a form or a gallery on it is still one page.
Per API integration
from $525
One connection
Each third-party service connected and tested end to end — payments, shipping, CRM, booking, email, analytics, inventory. Priced per connection, not per call.
Per special feature
from $900
One feature
Anything that is not a page or a connection: custom checkout, booking, a customer portal, search, a dashboard. Flat starting rate per feature.

Build tiers
Four tiers, each with a ceiling.
Each tier says what it holds in pages, integrations and features, and each one is capped. Where a tier ends the next begins, so there is no gap for a job to fall into. If your scope outgrows a tier mid-build we tell you before we cross the line, not after.
Tier 01
from $325 up to $3,000
Presence
A brochure site or a landing page. For a business that needs to exist properly online, be findable and take an enquiry — without paying for a store it will not use.
- Up to 6 pages
- Up to 1 integration
- Contact and enquiry forms
- No custom features
Tier 02
from $3,000 up to $9,000
Store
A custom Shopify storefront or an equivalent e-commerce build: products, checkout, shipping and the integrations a real store needs.
- Up to 12 pages
- Up to 4 integrations
- Up to 2 special features
- Payments and shipping connected
Tier 03
from $9,000 up to $25,000
Platform
A business running on its website rather than merely having one: accounts, roles, a customer portal, several systems talking to each other.
- Up to 30 pages
- Up to 8 integrations
- Up to 4 special features
- Accounts, roles and permissions
Tier 04
from $25,000 example at $50,000
Application
Custom software, a native iOS app, or an internal system nobody outside your business ever sees. We set a fixed maximum in the written quote before starting.
- Unlimited pages and integrations
- Custom features throughout
- Native iOS, submitted to the App Store
- Fixed maximum agreed before work starts

Monthly support plans
What it costs to keep running.

Combined packages
Bought together, priced lower.
Three combinations we are asked for often enough to price as one thing. Each shows what it is made of and what the saving is, so you can check the arithmetic against the list above. Add hosting at $44.99/month to keep it running, or Management at $349.99/month to have it looked after.

How billing works
Fixed, starting, and who pays for what.
The rules behind every number on this page.
Currency
Every figure here is Canadian dollars, before applicable taxes.
Starting points
Project prices are where a job starts. Requirements move the final number, which we put in writing before work begins.
Fixed prices
The monthly plans — $44.99 and $349.99 — are fixed. They are not estimates and they do not move with scope.
Tier ceilings
Every build tier is capped. If your scope outgrows the cap we tell you before crossing it, never after.
No hourly billing
We do not sell hours. Work is priced per page, per integration and per feature, agreed up front.
Expenses
Pass-through costs carry a 20% surcharge covering sourcing, handling and the cash-flow float. Receipts are itemised.
The placement guarantee
If we take a placement engagement and fail to place it, you are refunded. We decline up front rather than take a fee we cannot earn.
Where the work happens
All talent is in Toronto, at 1050 King Street West. Nothing is offshored, on either side of the firm.
Why we do not bill by the hour
Priced by the job, not by the hour.
Our engineers build with AI agent systems we wrote ourselves and run in production every day — nineteen of them, across our own newsroom, CMS, crew platform and App Store releases. On the work those systems cover, we measure our developers at roughly 17 times the output of a developer working by hand. An hourly invoice would quietly charge you less the slower we worked, which is a strange thing to reward.
Where the speed comes from
Scaffolding, boilerplate, first-pass SQL migrations, test fixtures and routine implementation are drafted by tooling we maintain. Work that used to take most of a day takes minutes.
Where it does not apply
Architecture, security review and anything touching authentication, payments or schema move at human speed by design. Nothing merges because a model produced it.
Check it before you buy it
A named senior engineer scopes the build, reads every change before it merges, and is the person you call if it breaks.
Read this before the media prices
The newsroom is not for sale.
TNAADO runs a working publication and a paid media practice, and they are kept apart. That separation is why a placement from us is worth paying for — a publication that sells its coverage has coverage nobody trusts.
01
We do not charge to feature a business
If our journalists cover you, no money changed hands for it, and none ever will. Editorial decisions are made in the newsroom on news grounds.
02
Paid content is separate from the publication
Anything a client pays us to make is produced by the media practice and labelled as what it is. It does not enter the newsroom's editorial pages.
03
Placement work is conditional
We find a genuinely newsworthy angle on your business, or we turn the job down. We will not manufacture a story, and we will say no before we take the fee.
Tell us the job and we will price it.
Send the brief, or as much of it as exists. You will get a written scope with a starting price and a ceiling against it, and if it is not something we should be doing we will say that instead.
